Doug Emblidge Obituary News; In Loving Memory of Rochester, New York Man, Doug Emblidge

Jeffrey Douglas “Doug” Emblidge, 33, passed away on June 17th in Asheville, North Carolina.

Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Doug and Coleen Emblidge of Canandaigua; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Erin and Josh Monster, and Molly and Danny Pluta; and his maternal grandmother, Joan Kenrick.

He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, Nolan and Levi Monster, and Adeline and George Pluta, with whom he shared a special bond.

He is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Nizar and Marsha Mamdani, Dave and Debbie Hunt, Laurie Hunt and Laurence Sugarman, Mark and Beth Emblidge, Tom Kenrick, Peggy and Peter Carey, John and Mary Kay Kenrick, and Tim and Laura Kenrick.

His cousins, Amira and Jamil Mamdani, Brian Hunt (Kara Yudikaitis), Lisa (Tyler) Ohle, Emily (Frank) Puccia, Zachary (Allison) Auburn, Emily (Jason) Benza, Sydney Emblidge, Kayla (Danny) Kaplan, Megan (Brian) Sciera, Drew (Ashley) Kenrick, Lindsay Kenrick, Connor (Marissa) Kenrick, Ryan Kenrick, Tatum (Ryan) Kunz, and Madison Kenrick, also mourn his loss.

Special mention goes to Mike and Sue Sheridan, Art and Leslie Roberts, and Ron and Mary Pluta, who treated Jeffrey as family.

Jeffrey had many dear friends, including Mike, Matt, Kaila, Danny, Alex, Carson, Chris, Shane, and many others.

Also grieving his loss is his beloved four-legged companion, Wilson.

He is predeceased by his grandparents, June and Roger Emblidge, and Thomas Kenrick; his aunts, Lisa Kenrick and Nancy Mamdani; and his dear friend Michael Holmes.

Jeffrey graduated from Pittsford Sutherland High School in 2009 and with Cum Laude honors from the University at Buffalo in 2013.

He was employed by Paychex and was a passionate fan of the Bills and Sabres. He loved golf and live music, especially the band Phish.

Jeffrey’s smile and sense of humor brightened many lives. His family and friends will cherish the memory of his unique bird squawk sound to announce his arrival and his humorous claim that children adored him due to his perfectly symmetrical face, allegedly confirmed by a scientific study.
